Seems like CBS, CNET, and Katie Couric are bringing reporting of the conventions to a new level. For both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, CBS will be hosting a live webcast of on-air coverage each night of the conventions from 10-11 p.m. At 11:00 p.m Katie Couric will host a web only roundtable using questions that online users submitted.

iPhone apps I love – 2: GasHog

Every time, I fill up, I used my iPhone to calculate the mpg by dividing the trip meter by the amount of gallons I filled up with. But I wish I had some way to record this information for the long run. With the iPhone’s 2.0 update and iTunes app store, there were many apps that were ready to accomodate my needs.
